Erstmal vorneweg: Es gefällt mir gut! Das einzige was echt ein wenig stört, ist diese Hitze! Aber ich denke ich werde mich schon irgendwie dran gewöhnen.
Im Studentenwohnheim habe ich das Glück, direkt neben einem weiteren Deutschen ein Zimmer zu haben (Hades). Außerdem habe ich mich schon mit zwei Finnen aus dem Flur angefreundet ( Iire und Atte). Nach einem Besuch bei Ikea mit Iire und Atte sieht das Zimmer auch schon ein wenig wohnlicher aus und ich denke hier kann ich es sehr gut 6 Monate aushalten.
In der Uni wurden wir Donnerstag morgen mit einer Einführungsveranstaltung begrüßt, in der noch einmal die wichtigsten Punkte vorgestellt wurden. Am Abend gab es dann noch eine weitere Veranstaltung und dann ging es mit allen in den Westcoast Park. Auf dem Weg dahin konnten wir uns noch mal mit ein paar Bierchen verpflegen und die nahegelegene "7 11" Nachfüllstation haben zu einem echt coolen Abend verholfen. Alle Ausstauschstudenten sind super cool und locker drauf, man kommt einfach super schnell in ein Gespräch und mein Englisch reicht tatsächlich auch aus, um einigermassten Konversation zu betreiben.
Gestern war ich dann noch Abends mit Hades in der Stadt und hab mir das ein wenig angeschaut. Sehr faszinierende Statt muss man sagen und steht in Sachen Luxus Dubai in nichts nach.
Heute Abend treffen sich noch mal alle Austauschstudenten und zusammen wollen wir dann was essen gehen und dann schauen, was der Abend noch so bringt.... so dafür muss ich mich jetzt auch mal fertig machen!
